MenuPlus® can interface with virtually any patient care management system via HL7, the healthcare industry's standard electronic interface protocol. The MenuPlus® DataGateway feature maps admissions, discharges, and transfers (ADT) as well as incoming diet order, allergies, and other information.
Each HL7 interface is a custom fit, utilizing what you currently have in the way of ADT messages. If you have never implemented a Diet Office automation system before, your facility probably does not have an existing HL7 Orders interface that includes diet information.
